QueryElementInfoData

class cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData()

Info about an element in a given frame

Properties

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementArea
elementArea: number

The area of the element (if applicable)

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementCentroid
elementCentroid: number[]

The centroid of the element.

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementId
elementId: number

The id of the element

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementIndex
elementIndex: number

The index of the element

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementNodes
elementNodes: { nodeId: number, nodeIndex: number, position: number[], scalarResult: number, vectorResultArr: number[] }[]

Data for all element nodes

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementTriangleVertices
elementTriangleVertices: number[]

A tessellation of triangles of the element.

This array contains x,y,z values for each triangle vertex. So there will be 9 values (3 vertices * (x,y,z)) per triangle. This can be used to highlight the element using the geometry or the markup model.

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementType
elementType: string

The type of the element, for example ‘Quad’, ‘Tetrahedron’, ‘Hexahedron’

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.elementVolume
elementVolume: number

The volume of the element (if applicable)

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.frameIndex
frameIndex: number

The index of the frame

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.geometryIndex
geometryIndex: number

The index of the CAE geometry. In almost all cases this will be 0

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.partId
partId: number

The id of the part containing the element

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.scalarResult
scalarResult: number

The scalar value of the element.

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.stateId
stateId: number

The state id of the frame

cee.ug.QueryElementInfoData.vectorResultArr
vectorResultArr: number[]

The vector result(s) in the element. The array will contain 3 values (x,y,z) for each vector result.
