Change to Product Package
To improve clarity and consistency, HOOPS has adopted a unified naming scheme across all products.
New package names now include product, version, platform, architecture, and compiler details. HOOPS Exchange binaries and headers have been added to the desktop versions of HOOPS Visualize for easier usage of HOOPS Sprocket Exchange.
A new sandbox, mfc_exchange_sandbox, has been added with HOOPS Sprocket Exchange enabled by default.

Platform Changes
- Support for all Microsoft Windows 10 editions is scheduled to end in October 2025 in coordination with Microsoft’s scheduled end of life policy.
- Support for OpenGL on macOS is deprecated and will no longer be supported starting in January 2026. Partners will have to migrate to Metal in order to maintain support for Apple devices in the future.
Enhancements
- A new version of the MFC Sandbox with HOOPS Exchange integration enabled by default has been added to the package.
Deprecations
- HOOPS Communicator sprocket (HCA) is deprecated and will be removed in an unscheduled future release.
