keepCore: boolean

Whether to keep this WebViewer‘s underlying engine core available for a subsequently created WebViewer to reuse, instead of reloading and reinitializing the engine from scratch.

Defaults to true. Set to false only when you know for certain that this is the last WebViewer you will create on this page (or at least this engine core) – doing so immediately frees the shared engine resources (GL buffer pools, the shader cache, …) this instance’s core was holding onto, rather than leaving them for a future WebViewer to potentially reuse. See WebViewer.releaseEngineResources for freeing resources across every idle core at once instead, e.g. from a beforeunload handler.
