SpinFire 2025.2.2
Improved Importer Settings UI
Importer and Quick Options are now sorted by relevance instead of Alphabetical order.
Importer Settings UI layout has been modernised.
Selection
By default, new users will be able to select parts using the left mouse button rather than the right mouse button.
Customers can choose between the left or right mouse button for selecting by using “Classic Selection Mode” in the Application settings.
For existing users, “Classic Selection Mode” will be enabled.
Installation and Settings location changes
Default installation folder has changed from “C:\Program Files\Actify\SpinFire\11” to “C:\Program Files\SpinFire\SpinFire Insight.”
Settings folders have changed from “C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\Actify\SpinFire11” to “C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\SpinFire\SpinFire Insight”
License file and logs have changed from “C:\ProgramData\Actify\SpinFire11” to “C:\ProgramData\SpinFire\SpinFire Insight”

If the mouse is hovering over geometry, Zoom and Rotation are centered on this surface point.
If the mouse is not hovering over geometry, Zoom and Rotation behave as before.
SpinFire 2025.1
Version Change
With this release, we have updated our versioning convention to 2025.1.0. This change improves consistency, clarity, and better aligns with our release cycle.
Going forward, all future releases will follow this new convention.
Improved Importer Settings UI
A Common Settings group has been added to the top of the Importers page to allow for quickly toggling the options that users are most likely to change.
Advanced Sub-Menus: Within the importer settings, some groups with many settings have had their advanced options moved into a a sub-menu titled “Advanced”.

HTML Export Support
Support for HTML Export has been added for both the regular exporter and the converter.
SpinFire 11.12.0
Importer Presets
Presets added for Importers, allowing users to quickly select different configurations without having to dive into the Importer menus.
Reworked 3D Viewer Settings
3D Viewer Settings have been changed to a single column with collapsible groups, order of settings has been preserved.
Grouped settings by use context. Three settings, “Prevent Thumbnail Creation”, “Static Model Enabled” and “Load Surfaces on Demand” have been moved from 3D Viewer Settings to Importer Settings. The logic behind this being to split the settings between those that must be set before import and those that can be changed afterwards.

Dintinguishing UI for Reader and Trial Users
Low Memory Warning
With the Application Setting - Display Memory Warning setting enabled, users are warned when their system memory runs low allowing them to cancel a file load.
