Fundamentals
This guide provides insight into the fundamental components that drive HOOPS Publish’s programming interface and delve into its specific functional components.
HOOPS Publish is a powerful SDK that enables authoring of rich engineering data and exporting model files to a variety of industry-standard formats.
As detailed in the Technical Overview, HOOPS Publish facilitates the definition of a model and its export to any of the supported formats with the richness of the source data maintained. It gives the ability to create rich, interactive PDF and HTML documents with customized interaction based on JavaScript and a large choice of elements and widgets.
This SDK is the only one based on the core technologies of Acrobat Reader. PRC, the ISO-standard underlying format behind 3D PDF PRC, is the native model format for HOOPS Publish.
HOOPS Publish can take advantage of HOOPS Exchange to import models from over 30 supported CAD and BIM file formats.
