Assembly Similarity Search Using HOOPS Embeddings

The notebook demo_assembly_to_assembly_retrieval.ipynb extends part-level similarity search to assemblies. It retrieves candidate assemblies using their parts, scores the matches, and visualizes the results.

Follow Install HOOPS AI for environment and license setup. Complete CAD Indexing and Retrieval Using HOOPS Embeddings first to become familiar with part retrieval and prepare a search index containing assemblies.

The notebook covers whole-assembly and sub-assembly matching, including how coverage settings affect which assemblies are considered similar.
