The tutorials combine narrative walkthroughs with interactive Jupyter notebooks that can be found in the HOOPS-AI-Tutorials repository. Follow Install HOOPS AI first, then choose a learning path based on your task.

For the HOOPS Embeddings workflows, start with CAD Indexing and Retrieval Using HOOPS Embeddings to build an index with the pre-trained model. Reuse that index for assembly search, metadata prediction, or classification. To train your own embedding model, follow Preparing Data and Training Custom HOOPS Embeddings before indexing.

Choose a Learning Path

• Prepare & Explore CAD Data - access and encode CAD geometry, build an ETL

  pipeline, and explore datasets at different scales.

• Train & Apply Models - work through part classification, model training,

  feature inference, or custom embedding training.

• Search for Similar CAD - index CAD parts, retrieve similar geometry,

  and extend retrieval to assemblies.

• Predict Metadata & Labels - predict missing metadata with the Context Layer

  or assign categories using retrieval and supervised classification.
