ArangoDB 3.11 → 3.12 Migration

Attention

Starting with SpinFire Manage 2025.1.0, customers MUST upgrade to ArangoDB 3.12 Enterprise.

Version 3.11 is no longer supported by ArangoDB or SpinFire Manage 2025.1.0.

Version 3.12 Enterprise is the only database option available starting with SpinFire Manage 2025.1.0. Customers may download it from: https://arangodb.com/download-arangodb-enterprise/install-enterprise/

Customers should contact their Tech Soft 3D representative to receive a license key for use with ArangoDB Enterprise.

Attention

ArangoDB 3.12 is no longer deployable directly on a Windows machine.

Customers are encouraged to dump (arangodump) their ArangoDB 3.11 data from a Windows machine and restore (arangorestore) it into a Linux-based version of ArangoDB 3.12 before upgrading to SpinFire Manage 2025.1.0.

The recommended and most supported versions of ArangoDB are on Linux VMs or bare-metal Linux machines. However, solutions like WSL or Docker hosting may also be usable by customers.
