Discover SpinFire XR
XR for Design and Manufacturing
SpinFire XR is a complementary technology that works for the individual, the enterprise, at all levels and at all stages of the Extended Reality journey, enabling the user to optimize, visualize and collaborate around their design data. Powered by Tech Soft 3D technology - backed by 30+ years of CAD data optimization and preparation experience, and partner to all major CAD vendors - SpinFire XR provides a robust and agile solution for now and the future.
SpinFire XR brings your 3D CAD data to life in Augmented, Mixed, and Virtual Reality. Built for engineering and manufacturing teams, it delivers immersive XR experiences through automated CAD preparation - no manual effort required.
Fully Automated CAD Processing
Reduce manual activity whilst maximising visualization performance and quality. The Visualization Pipeline is an enterprise-level, fully automated solution that prepares and optimizes XR-ready data. It can be run in batch mode—processing data triggered by PLM processes—or directly from within CAD using “Save As,” or by simply dragging and dropping from the file system. Whichever way the data is loaded, the pipeline automatically tessellates and optimizes it for XR. In addition to processing part-file geometry, it retains product structure, metadata, and even animation data to further enrich XR content. The Visualization Pipeline enables engineering and manufacturing teams to quickly and efficiently transform 3D CAD and design assets into immersive XR experiences. Output can be directed straight into SpinFire XR or exported as Unity or Unreal assets for use in custom XR applications.
All processes are fully configurable and automated, with no manual intervention required and can be installed on the Cloud or on premise.
Shrink Wrapping
Shrink Wrapping finds the subset of part instances in your data that are visible from the outside. By excluding interior parts, there are fewer triangles to render. Use a lower accuracy setting to speed up your processing time.
Part Culling
Remove smaller parts that are deemed unnecessary, to de-clutter your model and reduce the triangle count, resulting in more lightweight data. This can be particularly useful if there are components within your model that are not particularly relevant for your use case. The Visualization Pipeline has multiple options to decide which parts are small enough to be omitted.
Model Decimation (Tessellation)
Improve the visualization performance by reducing the number of triangles in models. By setting larger tolerance values, more triangles will be removed at the expense of accuracy. By setting the decimation to high, this will speed up the processing time.
Assembly Structure
Boost performance by collapsing complex assembly tree structures. This can be particularly useful when your source data has a complex assembly tree with a large number of objects, to reduce the likelihood of poor visualization performance. You can also combine multiple nodes into a single part.
Multiple Functionalities
PLM Integration
Fully integrate into your PLM processes with minimal effort and cost. Being an enterprise-ready solution, the Visualization Pipeline can be fully integrated into your PLM processes with minimal effort and cost. PLM integration means you have a fully managed solution for XR content creation, eliminating duplication of data and ensuring data conformance to IT policies.
User Authentication
Manage data access with single sign-on (SSO) and user authentication aligned to company standards.
Job Scheduling
Use computing resources efficiently, helping control costs.
User-Defined Reporting
Gain insight into license usage, data consumption and performance.
Multi formats support
The Visualization Pipeline enables you to take source 3D data, whether from MCAD, AEC CAD, scanned data, ISO/ANSI standards such as STEP and JT, lightweight visualization formats like 3D XML and Creo View, or neutral formats such as FBX and glTF, and create 3D content in a fully automated process for use in XR experiences. The Visualization Pipeline supports a wide range of input and ouput formats enabling seemless data flow between CAD systems, XR Platforms, devices and In-house solutions
