Shrink Wrapping

By ‘ShrinkWrapping’ the data we find the subset of part instances that are visible from the outside only.

• Mode

  • Off

  • Model. Return a model that consists of only part instances that are visible from the outside.

  • Experience. Model is unchanged but an ‘Experience file’ is generated that lists only part instances that are visible from the outside.

• Transparency

  • Allows for transparent bodies (e.g. glass) so that parts behind these will be processed and not ignored.

• Minimum Gap Size

  • Set the gap size (in mm) where anything visible through a gap smaller than this will not be processed.

• Keep Small Solids

  • If enabled keep solids that have a volume less than the threshold even if they would otherwise not be deemed visible under the other settings.
