Important Floating License Manager Update

Floating License Manager Version Change

IMPORTANT SpinFire Insight 2026.x.x releases comes with major changes for floating licenses

• Floating License Manager Migration Guide for details on the changes and steps to migrate to the new Floating License Manager.

• New version of the Floating License Manager 11.19.8.0 will be required to use floating licenses with SpinFire Insight 2026.1.0 and subsequent releases. The previous Floating License Manager (and it’s license files) are not compatible.

• Requests for the new floating license files can be made to Support after 2026.1.0 has been released. Helpdesk for SpinFire Insight.

• This change does not impact Node Locked or Site Access licenses, which will continue to work with SpinFire Insight 2026.x.x releases.
