Notes
A cutting plane is defined by the standard plane equation ax+by+cz+d=0. The normal component of the plane (a,b,c) points toward the side which is removed.
A cutting section is defined as two or more cutting planes defined as a group. Where separate cutting planes trim away more of the scene, additional planes in a cutting section trim away less of the scene. For example, three perpendicular planes defined together as a section removes one octant of the scene, while those same three planes defined separately would only leave an octant.
The count for sutting sections was added in HSF version 13.05; older versions only support individual cutting planes and reading or writing should use an implied count of one.
