HOOPS Luminate 2024
Luminate 2024 (5.4)
We are excited to announce the first release of Tech Soft 3D’s HOOPS Luminate.
HOOPS Luminate is 3D graphic API that can produce high-quality and high-customizable renderings at interactive rates and stunning photorealistic images thanks to its rendering technologies.
HOOPS Luminate is a single integrated API that includes and can combine, thanks to its hybrid rendering mode, OpenGL real time rendering and photorealistic CPU-based ray/path tracing.
HOOPS Luminate utilizes proprietary realistic materials for ultimate quality and realism of its renderings. Leveraging their high level of customization and their physically-based rendering parameters, the realistic materials offer superior quality and fidelity.
HOOPS Luminate is integrated with HOOPs Visualize, enabling the development of engineering applications capable of adding high-performance, photorealistic rendering. This technology opens new opportunities for engineering applications, which can now incorporate capabilities of producing stunning realistic images, or use high-fidelity, realistic ray/path tracing for simulating sophisticated light interactions and behaviour, simulate components, materials and manufacturing quality and finishes.
Rendering quality and fidelity is becoming increasingly important in many industries. HOOPS Luminate is Tech Soft 3D’s solution for adding top-class quality and realism to your application, offering multiple rendering techniques, as well as a sophisticated proprietary algorithm and materials.
Note
For the release of HOOPS Luminate, we will be moving forward with a new version convention. As shown in the title, the release version is 2024, and will from here on continue to follow the same as our other HOOPS version products.
Key Features
Here is a compiled list of the key features of the release:
Advanced lighting effects for photorealistic reflections, refractions, soft shadows, caustics and global illuminations
Advanced realistic materials library, based on physical properties, highly customizable and optimised for both real time and ray tracing
Material editor application for easily creating realistic materials and modify all their rendering parameters
Native Hybrid rendering mode, can combine OpenGL and CPU based ray-tracing technologies
